If you buy the kit you must order at least 1 week before the workshop date (UK) to allow for adequate delivery time. Deliveries to the rest of the world will take much longer and will incur added shipping charges.

This is an online, 4 hour introductory workshop into wire weaving. Your tutor, Nadja, from Imbali Crafts will show you everything you need to know to get started with wire weaving. Some of the topics covered are as follows:

• Wire types and their application
• What wire gauges to use for which projects
• Tools you need and why you need them
• We'll talk about different wire working styles and what they entail
• How to set up a design and execute it
• How to work neatly and control the wire
• Nifty tips & hacks to help you create beautiful jewellery with ease
• Adding in beads and other accents
• How to create your own findings such as clasps, earring wires, jump rings etc...
• We'll cover various weaves
• How to finish of a multi-wire bracelet
• Weaving a design using drilled gemstones

 ... and much more!

Materials you will need:  - Kits available, please check the kit listing or message me if you prefer to buy a ready made kit rather than to use your own materials.

• Top drilled pear gemstone
• 1 strand 8 mm 
• 1 strand 6 mm 
• 10 m  of 1 mm (18 ga) wire 
• 10 m of 0.8 mm (20 ga)  wire 
• 10 m of 0.4 mm (26 ga)  wire

Tools you will need: 

• Wire cutters
• Round nose pliers
• Bail making pliers (optional)
• Chain nose pliers
• Bent nose pliers (optional)

Projects on the day will be:

- Wire woven bracelet with beads and a self-made clasp

- Simple wire wrap pendant and, if time permits, earrings to go with it.

This will be a fun filled morning spent with other artists, and there will be lots of chatting and banter among like minded people. We always have a lot of fun together! Be sure to bring your favourite brew or whatever else you enjoy, and come and join us for a crafty few hours!

Last chance to book is 24 hours before commencement of workshop. You are required to arrive on time to avoid having to cover the same material again which would be unfair to other participants

Workshop cancellations by you

• upto 7 days before event: 50% refund
• No refund within one week of workshop date
  

Workshop cancellations by Imbali Crafts

You will be given at least 24 hours notice and will have the option to transfer to a future workshop or receive a full refund. I will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by me.
