'Floating heart' wire weaving earrings video tutorial

Hey everyone! In this tutorial I want to show you how to create these simple upside-down heart earrings featuring a floating bead accent. I’ll show you how to build the frame using a figure of eight weaving technique. We'll then add the focal bead and secure it to the design. These earrings highlight a beautifully interwoven floating bead as the focal point. This is an ideal project for beginners eager to explore wire work. Have fun!

What you will need to make this design:

Wire:

• 1 m of 1.3 mm (16 ga) wire
• 3 m of 0.4 mm (26 ga) wire
• 1 m of 0.6 mm (22 ga) half round wire

Gemstones & beads:

• 2 x gemstone beads

Tools required: 

• Flush cutters
• Chain nose pliers
• Round nose pliers
• Polishing materials
