What you will need to make this design:

Wire:

  • 10 cm of solid copper gallery wire
  • 1 m of 1 mm (18 ga) square wire
  • 1 m of 0.8 mm round wire

Gemstones and findings:

  • 2 x pear gemstones (please select your choice from drop down menu)
  • 2 x shepherd's hooks

Tools required:

  • Butane torch (kitchen torch is okay)
  • Fire brick/charcoal block
  • Soldering pick/tweezers
  • Third hand tool (optional)
  • Hard/medium/easy solder
  • Flux (borax cone is okay)
  • Pickle solution (I use salt & vinegar)
  • Jeweller's files
  • Heavy duty cutters
  • Chain nose pliers
  • Round nose pliers
  • Bail making pliers (optional)
  • Polishing materials
