In this tutorial, I will guide you through the process of creating a wire pendant featuring layered weaves. We will start by creating a frame and then seating the focal stone within it. Next, I’ll walk you through the steps to create and shape the intricate weaves that will enhance your pendant’s design. Finally, I’ll show you how to make a prong setting for the accent stone, bringing everything together to finish off your the pendant.

What you will need to make this design:
Wire:
- 1 m of 0.8 mm (20 ga) square wire
- 1 m of 0.4 mm (26 ga) square wire
- 1 m of 0.2 mm (30 ga) wire
- 1 m of 0.3 mm (28 ga) wire
- 1 m of 0.4 mm (26 ga) wire
- 1 m of 0.6 mm (22 ga) half round wire
Gemstones & beads:
- 1 x 1.5 mm copper beads
- 2 x 2 mm copper beads
- 2 x 2.5 mm copper beads
- 1 x 6 mm round facet cut gemstone
- 1 x 2 mm round facet cut gemstone
Tools required:
- Fine tipped flush cutters
- Chain nose pliers
- Round nose pliers
- Bent nose pliers (optional)
