What you will need to practice this technique:

Wire:

• 5 m (196.9 in.) of 0.3 mm (28 ga) wire
• 1 m (39.4in.) of 0.8 mm (20 ga) wire

Tools required:

• Chain-nose pliers
• Flat-nose pliers
• Needle-nose pliers
• Round-nose pliers
• Flush cutters
• Polishing materials to finish your piece
