In this tutorial, I will guide you through the process of creating a wire pendant featuring layered weaves. We will start by creating a frame and then seating the focal stone within . Next, I’ll walk you through the steps to create and shape the intricate weaves that will enhance your pendant’s design. Finally, I’ll show you how to make a prong setting for the accent stone, bringing everything together to finish off your the pendant.

What you will need to make this design:

Materials:

Wire:

• 3 m of 0. 8 mm (20 ga) square wire
• 3 m of 0.6 mm (22 ga) square wire
• 5 m of 0.4 mm (26 ga) wire
• 1 m of 0.6 mm (22 ga) half round wire

Gemstone & beads:

• 1 x oval cabochon
• 1 x 8 mm cubic zirconia
• 2 x 2 mm beads
• 2 x 3 mm beads
• 1 x 4 mm beads

Tools required:

• Chain-nose pliers
• Flat-nose pliers
• Needle-nose pliers
• Round-nose pliers
• Flush cutters
• Polishing materials to finish your piece
