What you will need to make this design:
Wire:
- 0.4 mm (26 ga) sterling/fine silver wire or 0.3 mm (28 ga) wire (this depends how thick you want to make your filigree wire.
- 1 mm (18 ga) sterling/fine silver wire
- 1.3 mm (16 ga) sterling/fine silver wire
- 4.5 mm or 5.5 mm sterling/fine silver tubing with around 0.7 mm to 1 mm walll thickness.
Gemstones & beads:
- 4 mm or 5 mm round, faceted stone
Tools required:
- Flush cutters
- Chain nose pliers
- Round nose pliers
- Domed chasing hammer
- Jeweller's files
- Torch & pickle pot
- Soldering surface
- Solder & flux - Stone setting punch
