In this video tutorial, I will demonstrate how to create a hammered wire pendant featuring a bead focal. You will learn hammering techniques, how to incorporate wire into a frame, and various weaving methods.

Materials

Wire:

• 1 m of 1.6 mm (14 ga) wire
• 2 m of 0.8 mm (20 ga) wire
• 1 m of 0.6 mm (22 ga) wire
• 3 m of 0.4 mm (26 ga) wire

Beads and gemstones:

• 1 x 12 mm focal bead
• 2 x 8 mm drop bead
• 1 x 2 mm copper bead
• 1 x 3 mm copper bead
• 1 x 4 mm copper bead
• 1 x 5 mm copper bead

Tools you will need (not included):

• Flush cutters
• Chain nose pliers
• Round nose pliers
• Bent nose pliers (optional)
• Steel block
• Domed chasing hammer
• File
