'Mana' pendant
In this tutorial, I will guide you through the process of creating a wire pendant featuring layered weaves. We will start by creating a frame and then seating the focal stone within it. Next, I’ll walk you through the steps to create and shape the intricate weaves that will enhance your pendant’s design. Finally, I’ll show you how to make a prong setting for the accent stone, bringing everything together to finish off your the pendant.

Materials required (not included):
Wire:
- 5 m (196.9 in.) of 0.3 mm (28 ga) wire
- 1 m (39.4in.) of 0.6 mm (22 ga) wire
- 1 m (39.4in.) of 0.6 mm (22 ga) square wire
- 1 m (39.4in.) of 1.3 mm (16 ga) square wire
- 1 m (39.4in.) of 0.6 mm (22 ga) half-round wire
Beads & gemstones:
- 1 x 18 mm pear gemstone (I have used a lodolite pear)
- 1 x 5 mm round cut faceted gemstone (I have used an amethyst)
- 2 x 1.5 mm beads
- 3 x 2 mm beads
- 7 x 2.5 mm beads
- 7 x 3 mm beads
- 2 x 4 mm beads
- 1 x 5 mm beads
Tools required: (not included):
- Chain-nose pliers
- Flat-nose pliers
- Needle-nose pliers
- Round-nose pliers
- Flush cutters
- Polishing materials to finish your piece
