Uranium glass - crushed - LARGE - 10mm to 50mm

These large crushed uranium glass pieces are the bold choice for jewellery makers and craft enthusiasts who want maximum impact. In natural light they glow with a rich, warm green-yellow — the unmistakable signature of genuine vaseline glass. Switch on a UV blacklight and they erupt into a stunning, vivid neon-green that commands attention. Their generous size makes them perfect as a centrepiece in larger pendant vials, resin projects, or eye-catching decorative displays.

Why you'll love it

  • Genuine uranium glass — authentic vaseline glass with that iconic green-yellow hue
  • Brilliant UV reaction — intensely bright neon-green under blacklights, perfect for clubs, festivals, and UV photography
  • Large crush — bold, chunky pieces that make a real statement in pendant vials and resin work
  • Completely safe to wear — uranium content is sealed within the glass; exposure is lower than a typical sunny day
  • Versatile use — ideal for larger pendant vials, resin art, mosaics, ornamental displays, and jewellery making
  • Handcrafted in the UK — made with care by Imbali Crafts

What you'll receive

A little bag filled with either 10g or 20g of large crushed uranium glass (select your quantity from the drop-down menu).

Great radioactive source

I bought the uranium glass to test with a MiniPix silicon pixel detector. One minute exposure and the detector had lit up with betas, gammas and a few blobs from the odd alpha particle. As Bill & Ted would have said, « Excellent ! »
